ADVICE FROM DR.

Mechanical self-massage is one of the best-documented ways to improve follicle vascularization, reduce scalp tension (an aggravating factor in hair loss) and increase local oxygen supply.

I recommend using the Pearly Quartz Comb:

  • Before shampooingto remove impurities and activate the scalp
  • In anti-hair loss routinesbecause it promotes better serum penetration and activates growth markers via gentle mechanical stimulation
  • In case of cervical tension, very common in people who are stressed or experiencing reactive weight loss
  • Post-transplant, only after medical approval, to stimulate microcirculation once the area has healed

SELF-MASSAGE TECHNIQUES (usage)

1. Scalp activation (dry hair)

Place the serrated part at the root.

Sweep over the entire surface of the scalp from front to backby applying light but steady pressure.

This action stimulates energy zones and immediately activates circulation.

2. Removal of impurities (before shampooing)

Make gentle circular movements to mobilize the scalp.

Ideal for preparing for washing, especially in cases of dandruff, flakes or oily scalp.

3. Deep relaxation (neck, trapezius muscles, cervical spine)

Perform a slow back-and-forth smoothing motion, using a drop of oil for better glide.

Releases accumulated muscle tension.

4. Growth & Oxygenation Routine

Use for 3 to 5 minutes per day.

Next, apply the MakeMyMask Anti-Hair Loss Serum to optimize penetration.

MAINTENANCE

  • Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
  • Avoid falls: fragile natural stone.
  • Do not fully immerse in water to preserve the quartz structure.
  • Dry thoroughly before storing.

FAQ: Dr.'s Answers

1. Can I use the Pearly Quartz Comb with my MakeMyMask skincare products?

The comb is mainly used sur cheveux secs, in dry massage, to stimulate microcirculation, oxygenate the scalp and release tension.

It is not designed to distribute a product (unlike a brush), and slips less when a treatment is applied.

2. What is the difference between the Energizing Pearly Quartz Comb and the MakeMyMask Stimulating Brush?

The two tools are complementary, but their function is different:

Mother-of-Pearl Quartz Comb

  • Usage : dry massage
  • Action: works deeply on microcirculation, tension points, and scalp oxygenation
  • Effects: relaxation, improved circulation, follicular stimulation, ritual head spa
  • Sensation: cool, soothing, targeted pressure

MakeMyMask Stimulating Brush

  • Usage : in the shower or with shampoo
  • Action: gentle exfoliation, cleansing, mechanical stimulation during washing
  • Effects: loosening of impurities, better shampoo penetration, activation of circulation during washing

To conclude:

Le comb = tool energizing & relaxing head spa.

La stimulating brush = tool shower cleaning & massage technique.

3. How often should I use the MakeMyMask quartz comb?

The Pearly Quartz Comb can be used everyday2 to 5 minutes, depending on your goal:

  • Anti-hair loss / growth : daily
  • Neck tension / stress : if needed
  • Shampoo preparation 2 to 3 times a week

4. Can I use the MakeMyMask quartz comb on wet hair or hair with oil?

He's strongly discouraged to use a stone comb on wet hair:

  • the hair is more fragile and breaks easily
  • The stone can slip and fall (natural stone = fragile)
  • the tool is designed for a dry energy massage, not for detangling

For detangling wet hair: favor our detangling brushes designed for that purpose.
