ADVICE FROM DR.

This brush has a technicality which results in the meticulous and unique assembly of 7700 boar bristles folded in half and assembled in packs of 50 hairs of different heights to allow sebum to be caught and extracted from the roots.

Boar bristle brushes help to tackle the hair and to tame frizz. Boar bristles are also gentle and naturalwhich can help protect hair from damage caused by brushing and styling.

Please note This brush is not a detangling brush!

Fabric

The 100% natural boar bristle fibers in our brushes are composed of keratinKeratin, the main component of hair, is a fibrous protein that is the primary structural component of hair. This brush therefore has a special affinity with the hair and will allow the sebum to be absorbed and distributed naturally along the hair shaft, providing hydration to the hair which becomes shinier and healthier.

FAQ: Dr.'s Answers

Can I use the MakeMyMask Shine Brush on wet hair?

We do not recommend using this brush on wet hair as it will lose its sebum-regulating action. It is best used on dry hair to better distribute sebum along the hair shaft.

Is the MakeMyMask Shine Brush detangling?

No, the MakeMyMask brush does not have a detangling action and is therefore not suitable for this application. However, the other MakeMyMask brushes do have this detangling action!

Should the MakeMyMask Polishing Brush be washed regularly?

Yes! Because it extracts excess sebum and impurities, it's essential to clean it regularly (about once a week) to maintain its regulating action. To do this, you can clean your boar bristle brush by soaking it in warm soapy water, then rinsing it and letting it air dry.

What is the difference between the new version and the old version of the MakeMyMask Brush?

The new version of the MakeMyMask Boar Bristle Brush has longer boar bristles, which will better distribute sebum along the hair shaft.
