Your post-transplant guide to understanding how to maximize your hair transplant results 👇

Designed by a Certified Pharmacist & Trichologist

Hello, I am Julie Pernet,

Doctor of Pharmacy, Certified Trichologist & Founder of the MakeMyMask laboratory.

For several years, I have been providing consultations to men who have undergone hair transplants and wish to maximize their long-term results. A transplant does not stop the progression of androgenetic alopecia: untransplanted hair can continue to thin or fall out. This is why proper follow-up is essential to protect the grafts, preserve overall density, and optimize regrowth.

I wrote this guide to help you understand how to maintain your hair after a transplant, limit the impact of DHT on the follicles, identify factors that can compromise the result (stress, deficiencies, scalp imbalance, etc.) and, above all, implement a targeted protocol to maintain and strengthen your hair in the long term.

What you will discover in this guide:

✅ Understand why a hair transplant does not stop the progression of androgenetic alopecia and how to protect grafts in the long term
✅ Identify the causes and aggravating factors of continued hair loss: hypersensitivity to DHT, genetic predisposition, stress, deficiencies, scalp imbalance, etc.
✅ Discover the classic & natural solutions validated in trichology to preserve overall density, stimulate regrowth and optimize transplant results
✅ Avoid common post-transplant mistakes that can compromise follicle survival or weaken the scalp
✅ My recommendation for comprehensive post-transplant care: targeted and gentle scalp care, adapted diet, specific supplements, and daily actions promoting hair health and longevity

Why did I create this guide?

Hair transplantation is an effective solution for restoring density, but it doesn't reverse androgenetic alopecia. Without proper care, untransplanted hair can continue to thin and fall out, compromising the results achieved. By better understanding the mechanisms at play—the role of DHT, genetic predisposition, scalp imbalance, and aggravating factors—you can implement a targeted routine to protect your grafts and preserve your hair over the long term.

This guide has already helped many men optimize the results of their transplant, slow the loss of remaining hair, stimulate regrowth and maintain harmonious density, while strengthening self-confidence... from the roots.

Androgenetic alopecia is not inevitable

I understand how frustrating it can be to find that after a transplant, some hairs continue to thin or fall out, or that the overall density is not as stable as hoped. We sometimes think that the transplant is enough to “fix” the problem permanently… but this is not the case. Androgenetic alopecia remains active and requires targeted maintenance to maintain the result.

This guide is here to provide you with keys based on hair science and a real post-transplant action plan, in order to protect the grafts, slow the loss of existing hair and stimulate regrowth to maintain dense and harmonious hair in the long term.

See you soon in the guide,

Dr. Julie Pernet
