pH5 SHAMPOOS

The scalp has a pH between 4,5 and 5,5 when it is healthy. That's why we decided to formulate all our shampoos at pH5 in order to respect this physiological pH and the microbiome of the scalp.

Sulfates are surfactants commonly used in hair cosmetic products. They act on the scalp and hair to remove build-ups such as dirt, sebum and residues from other products.

Sulfates are highly irritating foaming agents which disrupt the balance of the scalp microbiome, leading to an unbalanced scalp, dry or oily depending on the individual, or even dandruff. Our pH5 sulfate-free shampoo range is gentler and allows you to wash your hair and scalp regularly while maintaining the balance of the scalp.

Yes, our pH5 shampoo range is formulated with at least 97% naturally derived ingredients. The Universal Shampoo is even formulated with 99% naturally derived ingredients!

They do not contain sulfates, silicones and other controversial ingredients.

Yes! MakeMyMask's pH5 shampoos form a creamy mousse in the shower, which allows for gentle washing of the scalp. Universal Shampoo and Anti-Dandruff Shampoo have a slightly lower foaming power in order to be as gentle as possible on scalps affected by psoriasis or dandruff, which are more sensitive.
