Rosemary for Hair Growth: Scam or Natural Solution?
Hello everybody
I am Julie Pernet, a doctor of pharmacy and certified trichologist. Rosemary is often touted as a natural remedy to stimulate hair growth. But is it really an effective solution or just an overrated trend?
Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) is an aromatic plant rich in antioxidants and essential oils, including 1,8-cineole and camphor, as well as rosmarinic and carnosic acids. These compounds give it anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and antioxidant properties, which are beneficial for scalp health.
However, as a doctor of pharmacy and trichologist, I do not recommend rosemary as a sole treatment for hair loss. Although it can be a useful complement, its effectiveness is not sufficient to replace clinically tested treatments. It is better to orient yourself towards complete protocols, which take into account the underlying cause of your hair loss and your needs.
- Rosemary can provide significant results when used in the form of an essential oil, due to its high concentration of active ingredients, as demonstrated in a 2015 study comparing its effectiveness to minoxidil for androgenic alopecia. Participants who used rosemary oil experienced a noticeable increase in hair growth after six months, comparable to that of minoxidil.
- However, in other forms such as infusion or hydrosol, rosemary does not provide significant benefits in terms of hair growth, because these preparations contain much lower concentrations of the active ingredients found in the essential oil. This limits their effectiveness in stimulating blood circulation and promoting hair growth.
If you are looking for a real solution to combat hair loss and promote thicker, stronger growth, I recommend Tricho-Force Mud. This natural scalp treatment, designed with innovative bio-technology, has proven its clinical effectiveness:
- 85% users have noticed stronger hair
- 75% observed a stimulated growth
- 75% noted a slowed hair loss
By stimulating blood microcirculation, Tricho-Force Mud provides the oxygen and essential nutrients your hair needs to grow stronger and healthier.
Don't hesitate to complete your routine with the Stimulating Brush to improve blood circulation, dermaroller to maximize the effectiveness of hair care, and Anti-Hair Loss Food Supplements to strengthen your hair from the inside.
Take care of your hair,
Julie Pernet
